2.3 kg gold stolen from drunk driver in Hyderabad

On Thursday, the driver of Warangal based jewellery merchant, was robbed of 2.3 Kg gold when he was in drunken stage. According to the police V Sampath Kumar, the owner of BSK Jewellers asked to his driver Prasanth to buy the jewellery from Hyderabad.  After reaching to Hyderabad, Prashanth asked his friends to accompany him while purchasing the gold. He purchased the gold from various shops in Charminar and Himayathnagar on Thursday, after it he consumed liquor along his friends in a bar before boarding a train to Warangal. Later Prasanth found himself at Uppal Bus stop but his bag containing the gold was not with him, it was missing. After knowing that bag is missing, Sampath Kumar lodged a complaint at Uppal Police Station. Police has taken Prasanth into custody but did not reach to his friends yet.
