Hyderabad Congress leader Yadagiri was shot in Bowenpally area of Secunderabad, Hyderabad. The severally injured leader is now out of danger and undergoing treatment in a hospital. His condition is now stable.
It is heard that two men riding on a bike, in a black jacket fired on him and more than 6 rounds of bullets were fired at the Congress leader. The shooter is identified as rowdy sheeter D Babu. The reason behind it is a dispute of four acre land in Alwal area. Yadagiri is a former member of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and currently involved in real estate and liquor business.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy visited the scene of the firing. This incident took place between 11 am and 11.30 am yesterday. The attacker also tried to chase Yadgiri and entered in the hospital. According to the Reddy, the cop found two weapons, one in a dustbin at the hospital and the other with the victim.
