After delivering blockbuster movie Dangal, Aamir Khan is planning to become the part of another biopic. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan will play spiritual guru Rajneesh aka Osho in Karan Johar’s production venture and it will be helmed by Shakun Batra who is known for his directorial ventures Kapoor & Sons and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.
Few years ago, it was heard that Aamir Khan is planning to make a film on ‘Maharabharata’ which will be bankrolled by Mukesh Ambani but there is no update regarding Mahabharata till date. After playing Indian wrestler Mahavir Phogat in Dangal, Aamir Khan seems to have taken a liking to be a part of real-life stories.
Earlier it was also heard that Shakun Batra has penned a script on the life of Osho which may be made for an international streaming channel as a web series. But now according to the latest buzz, he is going to make a movie, in which Aamir Khan will make his screen presence as Osho. The sources say that Aamir Khan is very excited about this project and he has also given his nod. The preparation has already started. Aamir Khan and Baahubali distributor Karan Johar are going to bankroll this movie jointly, which will be announced only after the former is done with Thugs of Hindostan. The sources added, “Aamir Khan doesn’t want to compromise on his policy of working on one film at a time.”
Thugs of Hindostan is an action-adventure film, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is slated to release on 7th November, 2018.
