 Abhimanyudu Collections: Abhimanyudu starring Vishal and Samantha Akkineni, has completed its run in both Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to the traders report, the movie has collected Rs 9 Cr shares from both Telugu states. Abhimanyudu is helmed by PS Mithran and produced by Vishal Film Factory banner while Yuvan Shankar Raja scored music for this movie. Arjuna Sarja played the antagonist in this techno thriller drama.

The Telugu version of Irumbu Thirai, Abhimanyudu, was released on 1st June. Vishal starrer movie competed  with two direct Telugu movies, Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer Officer, directed by Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV and Raju Gadu starring Raj Tarun, but Abhimanyudu has managed to stand out.

Abhimanyudu is the dubbed version of Tamil hit movie Irumbu Thirai. The producers are happy that the Telugu version also did  decent collections like that of the Tamil version. They are elated that the Telugu audiences have also liked the film Abhimanyudu. Delhi Ganesh, Robo Shankar, Sreeja Ravi, and Kavithalaya Krishnan played the supporting role.

Abhimanyudu is all about the story of  a major an Indian army with anger management issues, is compelled by circumstances to borrow a loan from a bank with false documents. When the entire money in account vanishes, he tries to track down the scamsters, and it leads him to White Devil, a master hacker.

Initially, Arya was roped in to play the main antagonist in Abhimanyudu, but he later opted out stating that he was not ready to play the role of  villain right now in his career. Later the makers brought Arjun Sarja on the board to play antagonist.
