Sonu Sood, needs no introduction. The character artiste cum villain Sonu Sood is hugely popular in the twin Telugu states. He played the main antagonist in Anushka Shetty starrer woman centric movie Arundhati and now the makers have roped him upcoming another female centric movie Sita in which Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead. Sonu Sood is on the board to play the main antagonist in Sita.
In Anushka Shetty starrer Arundhati, Sonu Sood played the role of Pasupathi, who was a womanizer and now he is in awe of Kajal Aggarwal.
Sonu Sood has been the part of several Telugu movies like Dookudu, Athadu and Arundhati. Following the debacle of Aagadu in 2014, Sonu Sood has not appeared in a straight Telugu film again. Now he is making his comeback in Telugu film Industry with Kajal Aggarwal starrer Sita in which Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is playing the lead role, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Teja.
The source say that the film’s director Teja has designed Sonu Sood’s character in such a way that he is expected to bounce back big-time this time. Sonu’s role is said to be on par with Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’s in the movie.
In Bollywood, Sonu Sood was last seen in Ranveer Singh starrer cop drama Simmba, the remake of Telugu movie Temper in which Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal played the lead roles. In Simmba, Sonu Sood reprised Prakash Raj’s role.
Mannara Chopra is also the part of Kajal Aggarwal starrer Sita. Recently during the media interaction, she opened up about her character and said, “I generally like to work with good storytellers and I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to do so. After Puri Jagannadh sir, working with Teja sir has been a dream.”
On the otherside, Anushka Shetty will be next seen in thriller drama Silence.
