From the small town of Anantapur where she grew up, to the glamourous world of Tollywood, Priyanka Jawalkar has had quite a dream run already. Currently the actress is sharing the screen space with Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Deverakonda in Taxiwala in the direction of Rahul Sankrityan, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 18th May. The Maharashtrian girl has now landed a biggie in Kannada opposite one of the regining superstars, Punjeeth Rajkumar, directed by Pavan Wadeyar.
Priyanka is a software engineer, she has also studied statistics and done a year-long fashion-designing course at NIFT, besides doing an acting course with Bhikshu.
The sources say that the makers were in the hunt of a fresh face and they felt that Priyanka Jawalkar would be the perfect choice. The Producer Rockline Venkatesh apparently saw several profiles before zeroing in on her name.
The film is set to roll from March 8. It has music by D Immam and cinematography by Vaidy.
