Akhil Akkineni, the younger son of King Nagarjuna sent his wishes to the lovebirds on the occasions of their wedding anniversary. These love birds are none other than Akhil’s parent- Akkineni Nagarjuna and Amala. Akhil Akkineni shared a pic that featured Nagarjuna and Amala, he captioned it, “Happy birthday you two love birds ! Much more love and happiness to you my dear parents. Love u. #happyanniversary.”
Akhil also shared few more pics on Twitter and captioned it, “Winding down with the love birds and the rest of the family. Happy anniversary to my dear parents who I love so much. What a love story.”
Akkineni Nagarjuna is a popular actor, producer and television presenter. He has been active in the showbiz for more than three consecutive decades and now his family is actively involved too. Nagarjuna has acted in several Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies.
First time Nagarjuna tied the knot with Lakshmi Ramanaidu Daggubati, the daughter of the veteran film producer Daggubati Ramanaidu in February 1984. It was an arranged marriage since Nagarjuna’s father ANR was a good friend of Daggubati Ramanaidu. Naga Chaitanya is the son of Nagarjuna and Lakshmi. The couple Nagarjuna and Lakshmi got divorce in the year 1990.
After one year in 1991 Nagarjuna proposed to Amala on one of their trips together to the United States, and later they got married in June 1992. They were blessed with a son in April 1994, whom they named Akhil Akkineni.
On the work side Akkineni Nagarjuna was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s directorial venture Officer, which was turned out disaster at the box office. Currently Nagarjuna is sharing the screen space with Natural Star Nani in an multistarrer in the direction of Sriram Aditya. It was also heard that RGV will also direct a movie for Akhil but the actor has refuted the rumour. Akhil was last seen in action and romantic entertainer Hello, which was average at the box office.
Meanwhile Nagarjuna’s son Akhil has confirmed that he has signed a movie, which will be helmed by Venky Atluri.
