Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya inspired by Hollywood film Antwone Fisher?

If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry is to be believed, stylish Star Allu Arjun’s upcoming patriotic drama Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India  is inspired by a Hollywood film Antwone Fisher, which is inspired by a true story and based on the book titled Finding Fish. The film starring Derek Luke,  Denzel Washington, Malcolm David Kelley and Joy Bryant, was released in 2002. Antwone Fisher is all about the story of a temperamental young man, who had a violent past after the departure of his father and later joins the US Navy to eke out a living for himself. He is advised to meet a psychiatrist for the treatment. Later when he meets the psychiatrist who turns out to be his god father.

Recently the makers released the trailer of Naa Peru Surya, that introduces us to the ever fuming Surya, a soldier of the Indian Army. He seems like a ticking bomb waiting for somebody to push the right button so that he could explode. “Surya means anger,” says the voice of Arjun Sarja, who is also playing an important role in the film. In most part of the teaser, Bunny was seen trying to control his anger. So, there are few similarities which clearly hints that Naa Peru Surya is inspired by Antwone Fisher.

 

Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India will mark the directorial debut of popular screen writer Vakkantham Vamsi. Anu Emmanuel is playing the female lead whereas Sarathkumar will be seen as the main antagonist.  It  is bankrolled by Lagadapati Sridhar and Sirisha under Ramalakshmi Cine Creations and the music is composed by  Vishal-Shekhar duo .
