Anil Ravipudi is currently basking in the glory of his recent offering F2 Fun and Frustration starring Venkatesh Daggubati, Mehreen Kaur Pirzada, Varun Tej and Tamannah Bhatia. Recently during the media interaction, as a part of promotional activities of F2 Fun and Frustration, Anil Ravipudi revealed that he rejected a movie with Jr NTR due to lack of time.
Currently young director Anil Ravipudi is in much demand. He is said to be planning projects with leading heroes. He said that he had missed a chance to direct Young Tiger Jr NTR in the past. Tarak called him during the shoot of Raja The Great and asked him if he had any stories. Anil Ravipudi added, “I had narrated a storyline and Jr NTR was also impressed. He asked me to develop it. But I felt that the time was quite less and so I expressed the same with him. Later Jr NTR joined the sets of his brother Nandamuri Kalyanram’s production venture Jai Lava Kusa.” Anil Ravipudi added, “I’ll surely direct Jr NTR someday.”
Anil Ravipudi has worked as a dialogue writer for films like Souryam, Sankham, Kandireega, Masala and made his directorial debut with the movie, Pataas starring Nandamuri Kalyanram.
With the success of multi-starrer F2 -Fun and Frustration, Anil Ravipudi has made it to the big league, and is now getting calls from almost all the big stars and many top producers as well. According to a source, Anil RAvipudi is all set to direct superstar Mahesh Babu in his next project.
Currently Jr NTR is working with SS Rajamouli for his upcoming multistarrer RRR which is being made on the lavish budget of Rs 300 cr and is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment. Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who was last seen in Boyapati Srinu’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama is also playing the lead role in RRR.
