Anushka Shetty misses a golden opportunity

All eyes are on  Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty’s upcoming woman centric film Bhaagamathie, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 26th January 2018  on the occasion of Republic Day. Earlier the makers wanted to release the film as Sankranthi treat but later they postponed the release to 26th January because they did not want to compete with  Power Star Pawan  Kalyan & Trivikram Srinivas’s Agnyaathavaasi and Nandamuri Balakrishna & KS Ravikumar’s Jai Simha. Apart from these two movies, Suriya & Keerthy Suresh’s Gang and  Raj Tarun & Chitra Shulka’s Rangula Raatnam were also released on the eve of Sankranthi.

On the other side, recently the makers  of Bhaagamathie released the first look poster and trailer of Bhaagamathie, which received thumbing responses from the movie lovers and also increased the eagerness of the audiences to watch the movie on silver screen. After watching all the movies, cine goer found Anushka’s Bhaagamathie much potent than the four Sankranthi releases.  According to traders, the Sankranthi season, the under-performance of the four festival releases and presence of Anushka, would have helped Bhaagamatie.  Finally we can say that Anushka missed the golden opportunity.

Directed by G Ashok,  produced by UV Creations, the trilingual film will release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Apart from Anushka, the film has other stars like Jayaram, Unni Mukundan and Aadhi Pinisetty i important role. This is Anushka’s first release after SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2:The Conclusion.
