After delivering blockbuster movie ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ , Anushka Shetty made her comeback with horror thriller drama Bhaagamathie, which was released in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on 26th January 2018. Directed by G Ashok and produced by V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy & Pramod under the banner of UV Creations, whereas SS Thaman composed the music. Bhaagamathie was released in 1200+ Screens worldwide, Including Tamilnadu 200+ screens.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, which was also released in Telugu, had affected some collections of Anushka’s Bhaagamathie. According to the traders report, the movie has collected Rs 12 Cr shares from both Telugu States – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after the successful run of three days.
