Arjun Reddy brought on wheelchair!Shahid Kapoor is playing the lead role in Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster movie Arjun Reddy, which has been titled as Kabir Singh. Currently the movie is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Shahid Kapoor is reprising the role of Vijay Devarakonda.  Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and the team of Kabir Singh have resumed the shooting  at BKC. The scene unfolds in a hospital, with Shahid Kapoor was brought in on a wheelchair. The sources close to the film unit reveal that whether Shahid Kapoor’s character is brought in because he is hurt or due to a drug overdose, remains unknown. The reason behind his ailment has not been told to anyone. The sources added, ”We have not seen  the actress Kiara Advani. But another girl whose reel name is Hiya, will be pushing Shahid Kapoor on wheelchair. She is only the part of the hospital scene.”

 It has also come out that the actor, who is playing goon and a drug addict, has plenty of high voltage action sequences in the film. Shahid Kapoor is pinning lot of hopes on this film. After Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s periodic drama  Padmaavat, his next venture Batti Gul Meter Chalu was turned out disaster at the box office. So Shahid Kapoor is giving this film his all, hoping for a much-needed hit.

In Arjun Reddy, Vijay Devarakonda played the role of a brilliant surgeon, whose life turned upside down after he is separated from the girl he loves. In Kabir Singh, Bharat Ane Nenu girl Kiara Advani has been cast opposite Shahid Kapoor.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is helming Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh, also directed Telugu movie Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey, which received critical and commercial success when it released in 2017. According to the latest buzz, Shahid Kapoor will sport four different looks in the film.
