Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga asks Hero to lose 20 Kgs for Remake

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who directed Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey, is stuck in a strange dilemma. The Hindi remake rights of  hit movie Arjun Reddy have now been acquired by producers Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios.  Sandeep has got the responsibility  to helm  its Bollywood remake.

Recently during the media interaction, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said. “I wanted Ranveer Singh. But it didn’t work out.  Later I  finalized Shahid Kapoor  for  the role of the out-of-control medical surgeon who drinks and  drugs himself senseless after he  loses  the  girl he loves.  We  met, discussed the character and all the details  But my co-producer had other plans. It’s a very embarrassing situation for me. Now Arjun Kapoor is on the board to play the role of Vijay Devarakonda in Bollywood remake.”
