The national award-winning Bollywood music composer Amit Trivedi is set to make his Tollywood debut with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is being helmed by Dhruva fame Surender Reddy.
Amit, who has composed tunes for several Bollywood films like Secret Superstar, Raid, Pad Man, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi, Raid, Fitoor and Queen among others has been approached to compose tunes for the Chiranjeevi-starrer. The talk with the music composer has been initiated but nothing is yet finalized. If everything will go accordingly, Amit Trivedi will make his Telugu debut soon with Chiru’s film.
The makers of Sye Raa are unable to finalise the crew as per their wishes. The team wanted to rope double Oscar award winning music composer AR Rahman and Cinematographer Ravi Varman but both dropped out due to various reasons. Later Ratnavelu came on the board to handle the camera work.
It has also come out that the makers are also considering the name of Baahubali music composer MM Keeravani and SS Thaman to render the tune for this upcoming film, which is being bankrolled by Ram Charan.
Apart from Chiru, the film has other stars like Nayantara, Vijay Sethupathi, Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu, Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal, Brahmaji and others in important role.
