Balakrishna is playing the role of his father and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Rakul Preet Singh is essaying Sridevi in upcoming much prestigious project NTR biopic- Kathanayakudu, which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Krish. Today morning the makers released the first look poster of Rakul Preet Singh as Sridevi. She looks ethereal as well as naïve in a white saree and half-tied hair. Just now they have released another poster in which Rakul Preet Singh is seen dancing with Nandamuri Balakrishna. The pic of rain romance is shared by Rakul Preet Singh on Instagram and she captioned it, “And here goes another look from #NTRkathanayakudu !! I feel extremely honoured to get a chance to play #srideviji ..Thanku to all who believed In me .. hope you like it !!”
The makers are currently canning the classic rain dance song ‘Aaku Chatu Pinde Tadise’ from the movie Vetagadu, in which both Balakrishna and Rakul Preet Singh are participating. The sources say that this song will be one of the major highlights of the film.
Spyder Girl Rakul Preet Singh was the first choice to play Sridevi in NTR biopic. As it is the birthday of Rakul Preet Singh today i.e 10th October, the makers of NTR- Kathanayakudu are releasing the posters. Sr. NTR and Sridevi have shared the screen space in almost 14 movies together including Rowdi Ramudu Konte Krishnudu (1980) and Vayyari Bhamalu Vagalamaari Bharthalu (1982). Hence, the makers wanted to find the right choice for the role and the search ended on Rakul Preet Singh.
Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati is essaying the role of Nara Chandrababu Naidu, present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, who is NTR’s son-in-law.
The first part NTR KathaNayakudu will be released on 9th January, 2019, while the second part NTR MahaNayakudu on 24th January 2019.
