Chinmoy Roy, the Veteran Bengali actor fell off the fourth floor of his apartment yesterday evening, sustaining serious injuries.
The 77-year-old actor suffered injuries on his arms, leg and other parts of the body. Chinmoy Roy’s son Sanka said that the actor was found lying on the ground floor of the building in South Kolkata by neighbours and he was admitted to a private super specialty hospital off E M Bypass.
According to Chinmoy Roy’s son Sanka, he was not at the home, when this accident took place.
Chinmoy Roy was admitted to Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences. The sources close to the actor say that the actor is in critical care unit and he has upper limb and femur fracture. He is not on ventilator. He is conscious and is being treated for other critical injuries.
