Story: Raju (Subba Rao) is a government office clerk in a place- Kancharlapalem. He remains unmarried even at the age of 49, which becomes the hot topic of discussion for everyone in the town. A 42 years old lady named Radha (Radha Bessy) arrives in Raju’s office after getting transferred from Orissa. She is a single mother of a 20 year old girl. She falls for Raju. The movie showcases many other subplots in the form of school children Sundaram, liquor shop worker Gaddam Babu falling in love with Sameera, love story of Joseph and Bhargavi. What happens to all of them, is the storyline of the film.

Plus Points:

  • Story
  • Performance
  • Direction
  • Music
  • Cinematography

 Minus Points

  • New actors

Performance: All the actors have given their best and natural performance. Their facial expressions especially in emotional scenes are highlighted. All the actors grabbed the attention of audiences with their performance and screen presence.

Technical: The storyline of C/O Kancharapalem is unique. Background music by Sweekar Agasthi blends in well with visuals and carries forward the emotion. Vijaya Praveena Paruchuri as a producer spent adequately wherever required.  Cinematography work is breath-taking. The visuals and frames the movie has are good to eye. Editing is good. The dialogues are natural.

Analysis:  The major highlights of C/O Kancharapalem is its storyline as  it deals with the topic of Love at different phases in the life.  The way the director introduced all the characters in the film is appreciable. Each actor has justified with his/her role. The director Gr.Venkatesh Maha succeeds in grabbing our attention right from the first scene of the film and makes sure that the interest is sustained throughout.  It’s difficult to make a different film, yet strike the right note on commercial aspect and the director succeeds in it with this film. I feel that the Telugu audiences have never seen such a story on  the screen  before.
