Crorepati Narendra Modi is Poor Prime MinisterNarendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India,  is a ‘Crorepati’ but doesn’t own a car or even a two-wheeler. He is worth just over Rs 2 Cr, according to the latest declaration of assets released by the PM’s Office. PM Narendra Modi holds a little under Rs 50,000 in hard cash and a little over Rs 1 Cr in banks.

As per the document, he has Rs 48,944 in-hand cash whereas he has Rs 11,29,690 deposited in a SBI account in Gandhinagar. The PM Narendra Modi has Rs 1,07,96,288 in another SBI account.

Narendra Modi also owns gold worth more than Rs 1 lakh and has less than Rs 2 lakh tied up in investments. This information is released as a part of a voluntary disclosure and the figures are as of 31st March 2018. The declaration shows that the PM Narendra Modi has not taken any loan from banks.

PM Narendra Modi owns just 4 pieces of jewellery, all gold rings, weighing approximately 45 grams, that are currently worth Rs 1,38,060.

He  has also invested Rs 1,07,96,288 in fixed deposits and Multi Option Deposit Scheme at the same branch.

The gross total value of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s financial assets is over Rs 2.28 Cr, which  includes movable assets worth Rs 1,28,50,498 and the current market value of Narendra Modi’s residential property in Gandhinagar , Gujarat- worth Rs 1 Cr.

Over the years PM Narendra Modi, invested Rs 2,47,208  into the property and its current value is approximately Rs 1 Cr.
