It is known news that Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan is playing the role of Gemini Ganesan in Mahanati, a film based on the life of legendary actor Savitri. The entire shoot of the film has been already wrapped up. On the last day of shoot, the entire cast and crew of the film was emotional. Keerthy Suresh who is playing titular role posted an emotional message on her Twitter.
Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Swapna Dutt under the banner Vyjayanthi Movies, Mahanati has a stellar star cast which includes Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Deverakonda, Shalini Pandey, Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, Krish, Mohan Babu and Bhanu Priya among many others.
Dulquer Salmaan has started dubbing for his portions in Mahanati. He says that he is giving everything for the dubbing in Telugu and also adds that he is working harder than what he did for his exams. He wrote on the wall of microblogging page, “Don’t think I’ve worked this hard for exams even !! Giving it my everything to dub in Telugu for the first time ! #NadigaiyarThilakam @MahanatiTheFilm.”
The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 9th May.
