Farhan Akhtar tweeted ,“84 per litre mubarak to you and your loved ones.
Actual cost I believe is ₹31, based on info i could find online (do correct me if I’m wrong, happy to learn) .. the rest are central & state taxes, cess & commissions. Just so you know that the price can be brought down.”  He again wrote on the wall of Twitter, “Anyway .. my take and opinion on this #fuelhike matter is out there for you to think about, agree with or criticise. I must get on with my life now… Jai Hind.”

On the work side, Farhan Akhtar is currently busy in his upcoming production venture Gold starring Akashy Kumar, directed by Reema Kagti, which is set against the backdrop of the Indian Independence era and revolves around India’s first victory at hockey in  the Olympics.
