Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman is everyone's dear favourite in India and his music and songs never fail to transcend boundaries across regions and cultures. But music maestro AR Rahman’s last week’s concert in Wembley has landed in a controversy with many disappointed fans demanding a refund from the organizers of the concert.
The fans from North India were reportedly upset that Ramhan opted to perform mostly Tamil Song. The concert was held on 8th July at SSE Arena, Wembley in London. A R Rahman who has crooned most of the Tamil songs and that said to had not gone well with Hindi speaking audiences and they walked out of Concert. Many took Twitter to express their anger, displeasure over Rahman's concert.
According to the audiences, Just 1% of the concert was in Hindi and they had never seen so much disappointment among Rahman fans.
Rahman was accompanied by a good line up of singers including Neeti Mohan, Jonita Gandhi, Javed Ali, Haricharan and Benny Dayal.
