The much-awaited TV reality show, Bigg Boss in Telugu, made its debut on Sunday at 9 pm. The audiences were excited to not just see who the contestants are but also to see Jr NTR who made his debut on the small screen as a host. The first season of the popular reality show marks the debut of the versatile actor on the small screen. It was a different experience to watch Jr.NTR as a TV host with his usual dose of sarcasm. Jr.NTR was energetic in the intro episode of Bigg Boss.

The episode starts with Jr. NTR’s performance on his hit song ‘Don’t stop till you get enough’ from ‘Nannaku Premato’, which was a visual treat to TV audiences. Bigg Boss Telugu is shot in the same set that the Hindi version is shot in at Lonavala, albeit in a much vibrant set. Following the tradition of Bigg Boss show,  Jr.NTR gave the tour of the house to the audience, explained the few basic rules of the house and introduced the celebrity contestants in the first episode. The first episode of the show was not as interesting and entertaining as everyone expected it to be though.  NTR also introduced Big Boss, who cannot be seen but can only be heard. The participants will live in the house for 70 days  that consist of a swimming pool, gym room, living room, dining area, kitchen, pantry, bedrooms equipped with a special bed and bathroom for the house captains and the lifesaver of the housemates – a confession room they can visit with the permission of Bigg Boss to air out their grievances.

Every celebrity contestant was introduced. The first contestant to enter the house was Archana followed by Sameer. Sameer picked the captain’s bed.  Later Mumait Khan, Prince Cecil, Sampoornesh Babu, Madhu Priya, Jyoti,  Singer Kalpana, Mahesh Kaththi and others entered in Bigg Boss house.   After NTR officially locked the house. Bigg Boss welcomed the contestant and informed them the rule.
