Saakshyam starring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Pooja Hegde, has been creating a lot of buzz in Telugu Film Industry ever since it went on floors. The upcoming drama is based on the five elements- Earth, fire, water, air and space. Now according to the latest update, the makers have roped five crooning kings of the country to croon a song which will talk about the five elements.
The lyrics of this special song are penned by Ananth Sriram. The sources close to the film unit reveal that the concept of Saakshyam is unique so the makers wanted to have five top singer for this song. This is the first time in Tollywood when five top singers will lent their vocal for one Telugu song.
Abhishek Nama, the producer of Saakshyam says, “I am very happy that it is happening in my film. The top five crooning kings- K.J. Yesudaas, Kailash Kher, S.P. Balasubramanyam, Hariharan, and Bombay Jayashri have been roped to sing the Telugu song for my production venture Saakshyam. After hearing its theme, they agreed to become the part of this special song.”
Helmed by Sriwass and the film has the music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who has previously composed music for Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey starrer hit film Arjun Reddy. Saakshyam was initially scheduled to hit the theaters in June but the makers said that the CG work would not be completed on time and hence, they had no choice but to postpone the release of the film. Makuta Arts, who was part of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali VFX team, is on the board for the CG work of Saakshyam. According to Abhishek, the special song will be one of the major highlight of this upcoming film. Jagapathi Babu and Sharath Kumar are playing important roles. It has also come out that Pooja Hegde will be seen in a traditional look Saakshyam. The film is expected to hit the theaters on 20th July.
