Actress Neetu Chandra who is popular for her Telugu movies Godavari and Satyameva Jayate, has slammed Bollywood hero Siddarth Malhotra on social media for allegedly making fun of her mother tongue, Bhojpuri. Who despite being an outsider has made a name for himself, for you to use your words so loosely to disrespect Bhojpuri on national Television. Shocked! How on earth does speaking Bhojpuri gives you a latrine feeling. Shame on you.”
Neetu also shared a clip of Siddharth Malhotra at the BigBoss house where the actor is seen commenting on Bhojpuri language and saying that when he speaks in Bhojpuri he feels as if he is in washroom.
Later Siddharth apologized and tweeted, “I recently tried speaking a new language while I was on a TV show. In the process if I inadvertently hurt anyone’s feelings or sentiments, I apologise and assure you that no disrespect was meant in any way.”
