Actor-director Neeraj Vora passes away at 54

Noted director, writer, actor and composer Neeraj  Vora who made a mark in Bollywood with his work as a writer for Aamir Khan’s movie  Rangeela and made his directorial debut with Khiladi 420 in 2000 and later  in 2006, he wrote and helmed Phir Hera Pheri, passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 54 at Criticare Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai. He had slipped into coma after suffering from a near-fatal combination of a heart attack and a brain stroke on 19 October last year. He was working on Hera Pheri 3 before he went into coma.

This news is confirmed by actor Paresh Rawal as he took to Twitter and wrote, "Neeraj Vora - The writer n director of Phir Hera Pheri n many hit films is no more ...Aum Shanti."

Uttank Vora, the younger brother of Neeraj Vora, said that the actor’s body will be taken to Firoz Nadiadwala's house Barkat from where he will be taken to the Santa Cruz Electric Crematorium at 3 pm.


Neeraj has acted in few films like Mann, Holi, Virasat, Rangeela, Welcome Back, Bol Bachchan, Tezz  and others.
