Baahubali Prabhas beats Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar

This year only 9  Hindi films have managed to make it to the 100 crore club, which are Raees, Kaabil, Jolly LLB 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,  Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Judwaa 2, Tubelight, Golmaal Again.  The Hindi dubbed version  of South Indian movie  Baahubali 2:The Conclusion dominated this calendar year with humongous collections and broke worldwide records is at rank 1 in the list of top grosser of 2017.

Finally Baahubali star Prabhas has beaten  Bollywood  top stars like Ajay Devgn, Badshah Shakrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. His movie Baahubali 2:The Conclusion, directed by SS Rajamouli, produced by Arka Media, earned Rs 511.30 Cr at the Box  office and secured first place.

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan had two releases. His films Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal  earned Rs 137.51 Cr and Rs 61 Cr,  and occupied 3rd and 12th place respectively.

Bollywood Tiger Salman Khan acted in only one film this year. His film Tubelight earned Rs 121.25  crore in India and secured 7th place.

Varun Dhawan  had two releases this year. While his Badrinath in Dulhania was released on 10th March  and  his other film Judwaa 2 was released on 29th  September  this year.   Judwaa 2 earned Rs 138 Cr whereas Badrinath Ki Dulhania collected Rs 116.60 Cr at the box office in India this year.

Ajay Devgn  had two releases this year. His two films Badshaho and Golmaal again earned Rs 78.02 Cr and Rs 205.52 Cr respectively in India this year.

Akshay Kumar who will be next seen in Shankar’s 2.0,  had three releases this year. His films this year Jolly LLB 2, Naam Shabana, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha were all appreciated by movie lovers. Jolly LLB 2 has occupied 8th place as it earned Rs 117 Cr in India this year.

Hrithik Roshan did only one movie  Kaabil this year, which earned Rs 126.85 Cr in India this year. The film was made with a budget of Rs 50 crore.
