Manchu Manoj’s Okkadu Migiladu, based on the life of LTTE leader Prabhakaran, directed by Ajay Andrews Nuthakki, is set to hit the theaters on 6th October. Manchu Manoj’s previous outing ‘Gunturodu’ was as an average grosser at the box office and he is pinning lot of hopes on Okkadu Migiladu in which he is playing dual role- as  Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam supremo Prabhakaran and as a student leader. He also gained about 20 kg to play the Sri Lankan leader. The film 'Okkadu Migiladu' has captured the tension in Ceylon in the 1990s as realistically as possible. It's rare to see films based on real life incidents in Telugu Film Industry.  No any Telugu movie touched the concept of Srilanka refugees till date.

Okkadu Migiladu was initially planned to hit the theaters  in September  but the censor issues pushed the release of  the film. A massive 40 minute episode has been shot inside the sea, which is said to be one of the major highlight of Okkadu Migiladu. According to the latest update, the members of central board of Film Certifications (CBFC) felt the content has been extremely objectionable and they have asked this makers to chop off this episode.  On the otherside, the makers are not ready to  cut the sea episode,  as they felt that without this sea-war sequence, Okkadu Migiladu will not appeal to the audience. We heard that the makers are now planning to approach the revising committee and a special screening will be arranged for them soon.

‘Fashion Designer S/O Ladies Tailor’ movie Fame  Anisha Ambrose is playing the female lead in the film which is jointly produced by SN Reddy and Lakshmikanth.  The film has the music by Shiva Nandigam.
