100 percent Love starring Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and Tamannah Bhatia, which was directed by none other than Sukumar, is being remade in other languages and the Tamil remake is on cards right now. Lavanya Tripathi, who was last seen in Naga Chaitanya’s Yuddham Sharanam, was earlier said to be on board to play the female lead in Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster, 100% Love in which actor-composer GV Prakash is playing the lead role but she has walked away from the project. Originally, Sayesha Saigal of Akhil and Vanamagan fame was supposed to do the project, but she eventually turned it down.
Now, the makers have brought Shalini Pandey on the board to reprise the role of Tamannah in Tamil remake of 100% Love. Shalini Pandey came in limelight after delivering blockbuster Arjun Reddy alongside Vijay Devarakonda in the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Apparently, Shalini was flooded by a lot of interesting offers but she rejected a lot and finally convinced herself to be a part of this film, which is going to be directed by debutant Chandra Mouli, a former associate of Sukumar. According to the latest update, the movie will go on the floor either in the last week of September or early October, once the team decides the rest of the cast.
On the otherside, according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Shalini has also been roped in Mahanati, the biopic of legendary actress Savitri and she will be essaying Jamuna in the direction of Nag Ashwin.
