SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 has crushed various records and created a special place in the history of Indian cinema. The most awaited release of 2017 went on to create multiple new clubs and becoming their sole resident till Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan and Dangal rained on their parade. Now Salman Khan is trying his best to make all the possible efforts for his upcoming ‘Tubelight’ and finally the film has broken the record of Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 in terms of screen counts across the country.
Baahubali 2 had released to around 9000 screens worldwide, with 6500 of it being in India. It had 1100 screens in US and 180 in Canada. And now, beating the record, Tubelight will be released in 9,500-10,000 screens worldwide. The domestic capping of screens for Tubelight remains the same is 6500 screens but it will get more than 330 screens in US and over 215 screens in UK alone. It will also be released in over 50 countries at the same time. Trade Analyst Ramesh Bala has confirmed the news as he took the twitter and wrote, “@BeingSalmanKhan 's #Tubelight will release in 9.500 - 10,000 Screens World-wide this #Eid2017 - June 23rd 2017.. #Tubelight will release in 50+ Countries in International Market.. In #US - it will release in 330+ and in #UK 215+ Screens..
The Indian war drama ‘Tubelight’, directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Salman Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films and Kabir Khan Films, is gearing up for grand release on 23rd June. The film has other stars like Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Sohail Khan and late actor Om Puri.
