Huma Qureshi has been approached to play the key role in multi-lingual period drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which stars Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Nayantara and Tamannah Bhatia.
If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry is to be believed Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, who was last seen in recently released gangster drama Kaala starring Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, has been approached to play the important role in upcoming much awaited periodic drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Already two stars actresses- Baahubali fame Tamannah Bhata and Lady superstar Nayantara are the part of Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer multi-lingual period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and now the makers arebringing Huma Qureshi on the board.
The source say the makers have already contacted Huma Qureshi but it is not yet confirmed whether she accepted the offer or not. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Gabbar Singh and Dhruva fame Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Production Company. Apart from lead pair, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has other stars like Jagapati Babu, Vijay Sethupathi, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and others in supporting roles.
Chiranjeevi is playing the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who is believed to be one of the first freedom fighters. He rebelled against the British rule 10 years before than First War of Independence of 1857. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
Huma Qureshi made her debut with a supporting role in the two-part crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012. In Bollywood Huma Qureshi is popular for her work in Ek Thi Daayan, Shorts, the black comedy Dedh Ishqiya, the revenge drama Badlapur, Marathi road drama Highway and film X: Past Is Present. This year Huma Qureshi was seen in Pa Ranjith’s directorial venture Kaala, which was produced by Dhanush. Huma Qureshi essayed the role of Zareena whereas Rajinikanth played Karikaalan Kaala.
