Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Kajal Aggarwal’s MLA (Manchi Lakshanalunna Abbai) is gearing up for grand release on 23rd March. The movie has completed the process of its pre-release business and has fetched record prices for its theatrical, satellite and music rights. MLA has fetched Rs 22 Cr in its pre-release business and earned a very good amount of table profits for them.
The movie has fetched Rs 13 Cr from the sale of its theatrical rights of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Overseas and the other regions got a price of 2 Cr. The film bagged another Rs 7+ crore from its music, TV, Digital, and other rights.
During the pre release event of MLA, Kalyanram sounded quite confident about the movie. He thanked to the director Upendra Madhav’s refreshingly hilarious presentation of his character. He said “I had the same excitement when I did Pataas. MLA is my most satisfying movie after Pataas,”
Kalyanram also praised his producers Bharat Chowdhary and Kiran Reddy. The actor said that the film’s runtime is just about 2 hours and 9 minutes (129 minutes) and that audiences will not feel bored even once while watching the movie-MLA.
Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead in the film, produced by Blue Planet Entertainments and People Media Factory banner. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Manali Rathod, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Lasya, Prudhviraj, Ravi Kishan and Posani Krishna Murali in the supporting roles.
