Story: It is all about the story of a person named Rocky (Yash) who is set to become a rich and the most powerful man, which he as promised to his dying mother. He lands in the streets of Bombay, and becomes a popular don. Later he moves to KGF for a purpose, and in the meanwhile, he falls in the love. His next task is to kill a man. What happens next? How is Rocky connected to KFG area? To get these answers one should watch the movie on silver screen.

Plus Points:

· Performance of Yash

· Dialogues

· Production value

Minus Points:

· Narration

· Lack of commercials elements

Performance: Yash has given energetic performance in the role of Rocky. In one of the scenes, when Yash single-handedly pulls a cart full of food supplies reminds us a Baahubali scene where Baahubali alone pulls the giant statue of Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati). He has done full justice to his role. Srinidhi Shetty gets limited screen space but gives her decent performance. Achyuth Kumar, Malavika Avinash, Anant Nag and Vasishta N Simha and others performed accordingly.

Technical: For the rise of power, for the birth of a hero, for the helplessness and for the moment of victory, Ravi Basrur gives background score with aplomb. Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda shines with his lighting. The editing is fine. The production values are grand. Lack of commercials elements like comedy and eye candy between the lead pair disappoint the audience.

Analysis: KGF is a regular crime drama set up in an interesting backdrop. The item song featuring milky beauty Tammanah Bhatia and the love track is ridiculously boring. But these are minor flaws. Yash’s screen presence and stylish looks are good but the lack of interesting storyline and slow-paced narration makes it a boring. Now everyone is eagerly waiting for the next chapter.
