Mahanati and Rangasthalam have achieved a huge feat by making it to IMDB‘s top 10 Indian movies of the year. Mahanati and Rangasthalam get placed at 4th position and 7th place in IMDb’s list of top 10 Indian Movies for the year 2018.

Mahanati is written and directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under the banners Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. Keerthy Suresh played the role of South Indian legendary actress Savitri whereas Dulquer Salmaan Salman essayed Gemini Ganesan. Apart from them, Mahanati has other stars like Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Deverakonda, Rajendra Prasad, Divya Vani, Bhanupriya, Prakash Raj, Tanikella Bharani, Malavika Nair, Shalini Pandey, Tulasi, Mahesh Achanta and others in supporting role. Mahanati is the highest-grossing South Indian film that starred a woman as the primary character.
On the other side, Sukumar’s directorial venture Rangasthalam, the village based drama starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni is one of the blockbuster movie of this year. The movie became the third highest grossing Telugu movie of all time after the Baahubali series. Rangasthalam is positioned in seventh rank.
