The entire shoot of Mahanati- the biopic on yesteryear iconic actress Savitri, has been already wrapped up. Currently the film is in post production stage. The biopic has Keerthy Suresh playing Savitri and Dulquer Salmaan playing Gemini Ganesan, who was Savitri’s husband. Besides Keerthy and Dulquer, ‘Mahanati’ will also have Rangasthalam beauty Samantha Akkineni and Arjun Reddy & Pelli Choopulu fame Vijay Deverakonda in important role and the story of the iconic actress will be narrated by the role played by Samantha Akkineni. The upcoming biopic is helmed by Nag Ashwin and produced by the prestigious banner Vyjayanthi Movies.
According to the latest update, the makers are going to release the teaser of Mahanati on 14th April. This news is confirmed by the makers. The motion poster released yesterday revealing the looks of Vijay Devarakonda as Vijay Antony and Samantha Akkineni as Madhuravani is taking internet by storm. Apart from them, the film has other stars like Mohan Babu, Krish, Malvika Nair, Prakash Raj and others in supporting roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theaters on 9th May.
