As part of Green Challange, Telangana Minister KTR posted his pic, sapling a plant on Twitter and in turn challenged Mahesh Babu, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, US Consul Hyderabad and Rajdeep Sardesai. Mahesh Babu is yet to respond to KTR’s green challenge in his style.
Telangana Minister KTR has accepted Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli’s green challenge and tweeted a few pictures of him planting Rosewood, Oak and Golden Champa saplings. KTR nominated Bharat Ane Nenu star Mahesh Babu, former Indian Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman, US Consul Hyderabad, media baron Rajdeep Sardesai. KTR asked them to plant a sapling. He wrote on his twitter, “Task accomplished @ssrajamouli Garu. Planted a Rosewood, Oak & Golden champa saplings. Now I invite @urstrulyMahesh @USCGHyderabad @sachin_rt @VVSLaxman281 and @sardesairajdeep to the green challenge. Each one plant three.”
Recently SS Rajamouli, who accepted the green challenge thrown by Kavitha, wrote on his twitter, “Challenge accepted @RaoKavitha garu. Planted Banyan, Gulmohar and Neem saplings. And now, I nominate Pullela Gopichand garu, @KTRTRS garu, young directors @imvangasandeep, Nag Ashwin to take up the #HarithaHaram challenge.”
Rajdeep Sardesai, who accepted the green challenge responded on the tweet of KTR, he wrote, “Done! Challenge accepted.. will do this! #GoGreen.”
US Consul General Katherine Hadda also accepted the challenge thrown by KTR and she tweeted, “ Challenge accepted, @KTRTRS ! @USAndHyderabad is now home to three new Xora, Helonica, and Mony Plants! Here’s hoping @themohanbabu @MirzaSania @Andrew007Uk and @THubHyd accept the 3 plant challenge!”
Mahesh Babu, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman are yet to respond.
The initiative ‘Hara Hai Toh Bhara Hai’ by an organization in Telangana is gaining prominence. The film and political celebrities from across the country are accepting the green challenge. The green challenge requires people to plant a sapling and share a picture of them self with the sapling and further nominate a few people to do the same. Member of Parliament and Telangana Rashtra Samithi party member K. Kavitha was among the first prominent person to take up this green challenge.
