Manju Warrier met with a minor accident recently during a shooting schedule at Harippad in Alappuzha. Soon she was shifted to a local hospital where she received few stitches. She had minor injuries on her forehead.
The sources close to Manju Warrier says that the actress got hurt while performing a stunt sequence in her upcoming film Jack and Jill, helmed by acclaimed cinematographer-turned-director Santhosh Sivan.
The shoot of Jack and Jill has been extended by a few days due to Manju Warrier’s injury.
The sources say that on the advice of the doctors, Manju Warrier will be taking a few days off from the shooting.
Jack and Jill is a suspense thriller dama starring Manju Warrier, Kalidas Jayaram and Soubin Shahir. With this upcoming film Santhosh Sivan is making his comeback in Malayalam Film Industry after a long gap of 7 years. His previous directorial venture was Urmi, which hit the theaters in 2011.
After Jack and Jill, the actress Manju Warrier will be concentrating on her next upcoming project titled Lucifer, which will be helmed by Prithviraj.
Manju Warrier will be seen next in Mohanlal starrer upcoming film Odiyan, which is gearing up for grand release on 14th December. The film is helmed by Shrikumar Menon and is bankrolled by Anthony Perumbavoor. Apart from Mohanlal and Manju Warrier, Odiyan also other stars Prakash Raj, Innocent, Siddique, Manoj Joshi, Nandhu, and Narain in supporting roles.
