After #MeToo movement swept Hollywood last year, a lot of Indian celebrities came forward and opened up about their s*xual harassment. Not only the female stars but male stars too have been victim of this corrupt system in entertainment industry. Recently during the media interaction, Anita opened up about casting couch and said, “Yes, it also happened to me. But according to me, you have to handle yourself correctly and get out of that situation .” She further said, “ Today situation is good because you can speak more and you work speaks but in our days, it was worse. Luckily, I find Ekta Kapoor as a mentor. If you have a good start, definitely you will be successful.“

Anita Hassanandani and Ekta Kapoor have worked together for several shows like Kasamh Se, Kabhi Sauten Kabhi Saheli, Kkavyanjali, and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. She will also be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 3. Apart from Anita, Naagin 3 also starring Karishma Tanna and Rajat Tokas.

It is known news that Telugu actress Sri Reddy protest against casting couch in Tollywood resulted in the formation of Committee against S*xual Harassment. No actress has ever stripped in protest against casting couch in entertainment industry. Sri Reddy is the first actress (Telugu actress) in India to go to that extreme to fight against casting couch.
