Sensational filmmaker Puri Jagannadh is now coming up with an upcoming film Mehbooba in which his son Akash Puri is playing the lead role. The entire shoot of the film has been already wrapped up and currently it is in post production stage. Mehbooba is an intense love story set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Mangalore-based Neha Shetty is playing the female lead.
According to the latest update, Murali Sharma and his real-life partner Aswani Kalsekhar will be seen playing important roles in Mahbooba. Aswani Kalsekhar is well known face for Bollywood and she has also acted in Few Telugu movies like Badrinath and Nippu. Murali Sharma has also acted in several Telugu movies like Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, Yevadu, Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Hyper, Dwaraka, Ninnu Kori, Duvvada Jagannadham, Agnyaathavaasi, Touch Chesi Chudu, Bhaagamathie and Awe. This real-life couple is to be seen as reel life couple under Puri Jagannadh’s direction.
The sources say that Murali Sharma and Aswani Kalsekhar will be seen in the roles of actress’s parents. Sandeep Chowta is the music composer for Mehbooba and it is scheduled to hit the theaters during Summer.
