The film ‘Orange’ is a nightmare for Nagababu who handled the production of this super flop romantic flick in which Ram Charan and Genelia D’Souza played the lead role and incurred losses to the tune of Rs 30 Cr. It is also known news that Nagababu’s brother in law Ramesh cheated him. Orange was sold for very good price as it was the immediate film after Magadheera, but Nagababu didn’t get a penny back as the finances were diverted by Ramesh.
Later Naga Babu also revealed that it was because of his brothers- Megastar Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan, he was able to stand on his feet again. Ram Charan didn’t take balance payment as orange was ended up a commercial flop.
Now according to the latest update, Nagababu who got Rs. 39 Cr as his share from Maa TV – Star Network deal has returned the money to his brother Pawan Kalyan who gave him Rs 3 Crores at that time.
On the other side, Nagababu is very happy with the filmy career of his son Varn Tej who is basking in the glory of Tholi Prema. His previous offering Fidaa costarring Sai Pallavi, directed by Sekhar Kammula was also hit at the box office. Now he is going to play astronaut in Ghazi fame Sankalp Reddy’s directorial venture.
