Narendra Modi Vs KCRNarendra Modi, India’s Prime Minister made a provocative statement in Nizamabad alleging that Telanagana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) has promised to make Nizamabad like London, but “there is no water, power, or road” in the district.

Nizamabad is represented by KCR’s daughter K Kavitha in the Lok Sabha.

PM Narendra Modi and CM KCR crossing swords over the issues of power supply in Telangana. KCR raised the  Power Supply issue again in Wanaparthy town in next public meeting and told Narendra Modi, “The Central Electricity Authority that works under you declared that Telangana is number one in the country in per capita power consumption.”

Opening his campaign in Telangana, PM Narendra Modi also accused KCR of paying more attention to ‘pujas and yagnas’. Modi said, “KCR suffers from insecurity and doesn’t have an iota of trust on even himself. He depends a lot on astrologers and  spends a lot of time on prayers and is superstitious. He  ties nimbu-mirchi. ” And KCR hit back saying it was his personal choice that he was a believer.  KCR said to Modi, “You could also come and take teertham after my puja”.

 Today, PM Narendra Modi launched the scathing attack on CM KCR and accused that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government of doing nothing during its tenure. In his speech Modi said,” Telangana was formed after years of struggles and sacrifices of youth. The state government doesn’t have the right to destroy that sacrifice.”

 PM Narendra Modi added, “KCR did injustice to the poor people of the state.”

The three-way battle for Telangana, in which the BJP is up against the ruling TRS and the combined forces of the Congress and Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP),  will be held on 7th December.

 Narendra Modi will return to the state on Monday to address a rally at Hyderabad’s Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium.
