Director Atlee, who is popular for delivering blockbuster films such as Raja Rani, Theri and Mersal, has put to rest rumours that he has signed a project in Telugu with a leading production house. Recently the talented and creative director opened up about his future project and said that his next film would be in Tamil. However, Atlee didn’t deny the possibility of him trying his luck in Telugu film in the future.
Earlier this week, reports had emerged that Atlee may team up with Young Rebel star Prabhas or Stylish Star Allu Arjun for his next project. But finally Atlee has refuted the rumour.
Much before the release of Mersal, there were rumours that Atlee wanted to rope young Tiger Jr.NTR for his next project but the rumour eventually died down. It was also speculated that Atlee may remake Theri in Telugu with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. However, none of the above has commented on it.
Currently Allu Arjun is busy in his upcoming movie ‘Naa Peru Surya’ in which he is essaying army officer and will be seen romancing with Anu Emmanuel. Prabhas is also busy in the shoot of action entertainer Saaho, being helmed by Sujeeth Reddy in which Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is playing the female lead.
