India and Pakistan have strengthen security at Wagah Border, where soldiers of both countries collaborate in a widely popular retreat ceremony, after Islamabad's warning of a suicide attack around the Independence Day.
Pakistan's top counter terrorism agency has issued two alerts, warning about possible terror attacks by two Taliban suicide bombers at Wagah and Ganda Singh border at Kasur around the Independence Day.
It is heard that the officers of the Pakistan Rangers requested that the Wagah ceremony be advanced by 30 minutes between 13th and 15th August. India has agreed for it.
According to the security Alerts, Tehreek-i-Taliban 's Fazalullah group is planning to target the parade at Wagah Border and Ganda Singh Border on 13th, 14th or 15th August.
The Punjab police launched a crackdown in the border areas and arresting number of suspects.
According to the Lahore police spokesman Niyab Haider , Police has arrested more than 50 suspects. The security has been beefed up in the city as well as border areas.
