Veteran actor-filmmaker T Rajendar insulted Kabali fame Sai Dhanshika during a press interaction. On Thursday, Krishna, Vidharth, Dhansika and T Rajendar were seen promoting their upcoming film Vizhithiru. While thanking the team and her co-stars, Dhanshika reportedly left out T Rajendar's name who is part of a dance in the film, which, sort of, gave him the liberty to make unnecessary comments.
Dhansika who played the role of Rajinikanth’s daughter in Kabali, was sharing her experience of working in the film ‘Vizhithiru’ during a press meet organised for the thriller film. While thanking a few who had worked with her, she forgot to mention T Rajendar which irked the veteran actor and film maker. T Rajendar, who wouldn't accept an apology from the actress went on to give her a lecture about 'mariyadai' or manners.
During the press meet TR, who has done a dance number for the film, said, “Dhanshika got the chance to act in Kabali only after Vizhithiru. After acting with the Superstar, she forgot me. She forgot to even mention my name while speaking on the stage.” Even as Dhanshika intervened and apologised to the actor, TR did not listen to her. He said, “The stage ethic is to mention all the dignitaries.”
None of the others present at the meet spoke up for Dhanshika. Vidharth and Krishna, who were also on stage, were spotted laughing as TR launched into a tirade against Dhanshika.
Directed by Mera Kathiravan, Vizhithiru - an action thriller, is slated to be released on 6th October 2017.
