SS Rajamouli’s visual grandeur ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion,’ which smashed most of the pre-existing box-office records in Indian cinema, has now achieved a rare record. Apart from its storming collections, the movie has achieved a rare record as it has emerged as the third most watched Indian film after Salman Khan & Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ and Dharmendra & Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Sholay’.
As per the report, family entertainer ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ is leading the list with 7,39,67,000 tickets followed by the cult classic ‘Sholay’ stood at the second position with 5,52,34,000 tickets. Prabhas’s ‘Baahubali 2’ stood at the third place with 5,40,43,000 tickets have been sold for the film across the globe till now. The movie’s ticket sales have crossed many mighty blockbusters of the recent times like Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’.
This is a sensational feat for a film coming from the Regional Cinema. The ticket count of Baahubali 2 would further increase on its release in China and most possibly cross both the movies.
