Kona Venkat, the one of the most prolific writers who is also producer, is known for being highly supportive of any film that releases and he also introduced many young directors under his banner as well. He is quite active on Social media. Kona is one of the person who always praises the new talent. Recently Kona Venkat came up with an interesting request to Telangana IT Minister KTR and requested to eradicate the piracy from the film Industry. He also asked to ban a website, Movirulz, that is hosting the latest pirated prints of newly released Telugu films. Kona Venkat tweeted, “@KTRTRS .. we request ur immediate intervention in taking severe action against this particular website called “movierulz” which is a major threat to TFI.. Please instruct concerned authorities to lock these people up for good and save us . Here’s is the evidence sir.”
After Kona Venkat, the young actor Nikhil also reacted on piracy and gives a hint about another website which is also posting the piracy copies of latest movies online. The actor also shared few screenshot as proof.
Piracy is affecting the Indian film Industry and is spreading like wildfire. The piracy is illegal – especially if the film isn’t out yet. There is no doubt that piracy has eaten into the business of cinema.
