NTR Biopic New Poster: Legendary NTR as British Inspector

NTR Biopic New Poster Legendary NTR as British InspectorNTR Biopic is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Krish, in which Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the lead role and will be seen essaying the role of his father, legendary actor and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. 70 years back, NTR made his debut with Mana Desam. The movie was released on 24th November 1949. So on this occasion, yesterday the makers released a new poster which features Balakrishna as British Inspector holding a lathi. In Mana Desam, NTR essayed the role of British Inspector and Nandamuri Balakrishna completely transformed to look alike his father on the first day of the shoot.

Mana Desam is produced by Raja Saheb of Mirzapur under the Sobhanachala Pictures banner, presented by Krishnaveni and directed by L. V. Prasad

NTR biopic is getting made in two parts, ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ and ‘NTR Mahanayakudu.’

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, popularly known as NTR, also marked his presence in the industry as a producer, director and editor. Later in life, he served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the 7 years over three terms.

Apart from Balakrishna, NTR biopic  also stars Bollywood actor Vidya Balan. Vidya Balan has been roped in to play NTR’s wife Basavatarakam and Ram Daagubati is playing current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh- Chandrababu Naidu. The film will also star Bengali actor Jisshu, who will be seen portraying the role of filmmaker and Dadasaheb Phalke awardee LV Prasad. He had launched NTR in films in 1949 with Mana Desam.

Balakrishna starrer NTR biopic is jointly produced by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri.  It has the music by MM Keeravani. Santhosh Thundiyil is handling the cinematography. Sumanth, the nephew of Akkineni  Nagarjuna will be seen playing the role of his grandfather ANR.

NTR Kathanayakudu will hit the theaters in January 2019 on the occasion of Sankranthi.
