Asaduddin Owaisi, the AIMIM President reached Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR)’s official residence on his motorbike instead of his car for a lunch on Monday. He discussed possible scenarios with KCR ahead of the declaration of Assembly election results.
It is heard that Asaduddin Owaisi and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief KCR discussed the possible scenarios and the strategy to be adopted after the results are known on Tuesday.
Asaduddin Owaisi extended his full support to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), saying the party led by K Chandrashekar Rao will win the elections.
Asaduddin Owaisi today said the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would form the next government in Telangana on its own strength and his party would give full support to KCR.
Before his meeting with Telanagan Chief Minister All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi took to his Twitter and wrote, “I’ll be meeting Telangana’s caretaker & next CM of Telangana, KCR sahab @TelanganaCMO at 1:30 PM today. Inshallah he’ll form government on his own strength, and Majlis will stand by him. This is our first step towards a larger goal of nation building……”
It is expected that Asaduddin Owaisi will address the media after his meeting with KCR. Approximately, all the exit polls have forecast the victory of incumbent caretaker Chief Minister KCR-led TRS.
The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen contested 8 seats in the December 7 assembly elections as against 7 in 2014 polls, and supported the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) . Asaduddin Owaisi had also organised public meetings in support of TRS in the run-up to the December 7 Assembly elections.
