In Young Tiger Jr. NTR starrer Janata Garage’s Pakka Local and Jai Lava Kusa’s swing Zara item number where Devi Sri Prasad’s rocking tune, Kajal Agarwal and Tamannah Bhatia’s spicy curves respectively made the talking, there is no such hit item number. Sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad is considered as a specialist of item numbers but this time he disappointed the audiences.
DSP scored the music for Sukumar’s village based drama Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni. The makers roped DJ and Mukunda beauty Pooja Hegde to shake a leg for the item song ‘Jigelu Raani’. Three singles- Yentha Sakkagunnave, Ranga Ranga Rangasthalam and Rangamma Mangamma from ‘Rangasthalam’ are out before and now finally the makers have released the full songs Jukebox. The songs Aa Gattununtaava and Jigelu Rani are added to the jukebox. Aa Gattununtaava is the folk song and Jigelu Rani is the item song.
From long time, the movies lovers and Mega fans were eagerly waiting for item number ‘Jigelu Raani’. But finally after listening to the item number one has to admit, ‘Jigelu Raani’ may be the weakest of DSP’s item numbers. The special song is crooned by Rela Kumar and Ganta Venkata Lakshmi. The lyrics are penned by Chandrabose.
