Pop Singer Smita’s daughter Baby Shivi is playing an important role in upcoming much awaited movie ‘Mahanati’- the biopic of a legendary actress Savitri, which is gearing up for grand release on 9th May.
According to the latest update, Baby Shivi will be seen essaying the role of Savitri and Gemini Ganeshan’s daughter in Nag Ashwin’s directorial venture Mahanati. Smita has confirmed this news by sharing a pic on microblogging page and wrote, “Finally sharing a picture, I guess I can now a moment from the shoot of #Mahanati @Shivisayz with father @dulQuer #Gemini.”
Keethy Suresh will be seen portraying the role of Savitri whereas Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan as Gemini Ganeshan, the husband of Savitri. The promising actress Keerthy Suresh is entering a new league as she takes on this powerful role.
Recently the makers launched the audio of Mahanati. The main cast and crew – Keerthy Suresh, Duqluer Salmaan, Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha Akkineni were present at the audio launch. Young Tiger Jr.NTR attended the event as Chief Guest. On this occasion, Akkineni Nagarjuna also spoke about Mahanati
