It is known news that Puri Jagannadh is currently busy in his upcoming movie ‘Mehbooba’, in which his son Akash Puri and Mangalore-based Neha Shetty are playing the lead roles. The entire shoot of the movie has been wrapped up and currently the film is in post production stage. It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of 1971 India-Pakistan war.
Puri Jagannadh is also bankrolling the film himself with his production house Puri Connects. Punjabi kudi Charmme Kaur, who’s the co-founder of Puri Connects, revealed that Dil Raju has acquired the worldwide distribution rights of ‘Mehbooba’, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 11th May. She said, “It gives us immense pride and pleasure to be associated with the successful and well reputed producer Dil Raju garu’s Venkateswara Films.”
The director and producer Dil Raju joined hands after a long time. Earlier they have worked together for Idiot and Pokiri. Now once again they came up together for Mehbooba.
